TattsLotto Statistics & Draw Analysis

TattsLotto (Saturday Lotto) is drawn every Saturday at 8:30pm AEST with a guaranteed Division 1 prize pool of $4 Million. 6 winning numbers are drawn from 45, plus 2 supplementary. Odds: 1 in 8,145,060.

TattsLotto Number Frequency Analysis

Our TattsLotto statistics page analyses every Saturday Lotto draw since January 2008 — over 900 draws spanning more than 17 years of data — to reveal how often each of the 45 numbers has been drawn. The frequency chart shows the actual count for each number alongside the expected count if draws were perfectly uniform. Over this many draws, most numbers cluster within a narrow band, but short-term deviations of 15–25% above or below expected are completely normal and reflect standard statistical variance.

TattsLotto's 6-from-45 format means each number has a theoretical probability of 13.33% of appearing in any given draw. Over 900+ draws, each number should have appeared approximately 120 times. Our analysis shows the actual range spans from roughly 105 to 135 — a spread that is entirely consistent with random draws. The interactive chart lets you sort by frequency, number order, or deviation to identify which numbers are currently running above or below their mathematical expectation.

Hot and Cold Numbers

Hot numbers are those drawn more than expected over a configurable recent window (default: last 50 draws). Cold numbers are the opposite. In TattsLotto's 6-from-45 format, the expected frequency for each number is roughly 6.67% per draw window — so a number appearing in 10% of recent draws would be considered hot. Our analytics page colour-codes each number on a heat map so you can see patterns at a glance.

Remember: hot and cold streaks are a natural feature of random processes. A number being "hot" over 50 draws tells you nothing definitive about the next draw, but it does reflect the statistical reality of that sample. Over the full 17-year dataset, numbers that were once hot often become cold and vice versa, demonstrating the phenomenon known as regression to the mean. For a deeper exploration, read our hot and cold numbers guide.

Overdue Number Detection

Our overdue analysis identifies numbers that haven't appeared for significantly longer than their statistical average gap. For TattsLotto, the average gap between appearances for any single number is approximately 7.5 draws. A number that hasn't appeared in 20+ draws is statistically unusual, though not predictive. We display the current gap alongside the average gap and a deviation score to help you understand the data objectively.

The overdue tracker updates after every Saturday draw. Numbers that reach two standard deviations beyond their mean gap are flagged as significantly overdue. While this is mathematically interesting, it is important to note that each ball has exactly the same 13.33% chance of appearing regardless of how long it has been absent — the balls have no memory of previous draws.

Common Pair Analysis

The pairs analysis shows which two-number combinations appear together most frequently across all TattsLotto draws. With 45 numbers and 6 drawn per draw, there are 990 possible pairs and each draw produces 15 unique pairs. Some pairs genuinely appear 30–40% more often than expected over the dataset. While this reflects historical coincidence rather than causal connection, it's fascinating data for lottery enthusiasts who enjoy pattern analysis.

Our pair frequency table ranks every combination by actual versus expected frequency, highlighting those that stand out statistically. The most common pairs tend to involve numbers that are individually popular, which is expected under random draws.

Odd/Even and Sum Range Patterns

Historical winning draws show a strong tendency toward balanced odd/even splits. The most common distribution is 3 odd + 3 even (appearing in roughly 33% of draws), followed by 4/2 and 2/4 splits. All-odd or all-even draws are extremely rare — occurring in fewer than 1% of draws. Similarly, winning number sums tend to cluster in the 100–180 range, with the median around 135. Sums below 70 or above 210 have occurred in fewer than 2% of all historical TattsLotto draws.

Consecutive Number Patterns

Approximately 40% of TattsLotto winning draws contain at least one pair of consecutive numbers (e.g., 14-15 or 33-34). Sets with two or more consecutive pairs are much rarer, appearing in fewer than 5% of draws. This pattern is consistent with what probability theory predicts for randomly selecting 6 numbers from 45 — consecutive pairs are more common than many players expect.

How to Use TattsLotto Analytics

Previous draws don't influence the next one — that's just how randomness works. Our stats show you what's happened before, not what's going to happen. Use the data to choose numbers that spread across the full 1–45 range, avoid common clusters, and appreciate the genuine randomness of lottery draws. Compare TattsLotto patterns with Weekday Windfall analytics — since both use identical 6/45 mechanics, the comparison reveals how parallel random systems behave independently.
